Uji Beda Pemberian Teh Hijau dan Teh Hitam Terhadap Perubahan PH Saliva Terhadap In Vivo

Objective: this research is aimed to find out the difference of pH saliva after the supplying of the green tea and black tea by in vivo. Method: this research is Randomized Control Trial (RCT). The sample used was 45 students obtained by using the simple random sampling technique. The samples were divided into 3 groups; they were the control group, black tea group, and green tea group which were consisted of 15 samples for each group. Every group drank milk containing sucrosa continued by gargling with aqudes for the control group, black tea for the second group, and green tea for the third group for about 20 minutes. After the second minutes, sixth minutes, and tenth minutes, the saliva was come out for about 2 ml put into a tube, then pH saliva measured. By using statistical analysis with SPSS for Windows Release 16, the data was analyzed by using one way anova method. The difference would be significant if p<0.05. Results: the research showed that there is a significant difference between the black tea and the control groups at the second minutes (p=0.000), the green tea and control groups in the second minutes (p=0.000), but there is not any significant difference between the black tea and green tea groups at the second minutes (p=0.800). The significant difference is also found in the sixth and tenth minutes, but in the tenth minutes, the difference between the black tea and control groups is not significance (p=0.082). The average of pH saliva is green tea > black tea > control groups. pH saliva in samples have accelerate in increasing and there are decelerate in increasing, but there are samples who appropriate with theory. Conclusion: This research concluded that the black tea and green tea can increase pH saliva. There is not any significant difference between the dark tea and green tea groups.
