Pembuatan Server Media Berbasis Linux Integrated Media Operating System (I-Mos)

Media information is one of the most important element in public life. With following a growing of media information, people can find many things are carried by media information such as news, entertainment and various other information. Increasing complexity of information access it is needed to encourage the rapid development of information media types that can be used by the public. I-MOS (Integrated Media Operating System) is a operating system made specifically as a media server that included streaming video server, streaming radio server, web server and instant messaging server. For making the operating system, the writer uses the base operating system Linux and uses open source application server. Development of this system uses two methods such as observation and literature study.The result of this analysis is a operating system called I-MOS (Integrated Media Operating System) which has been equipped with a media server application is presented in a website and packed into a new operating system.
