Hubungan antara paritas ibu dengan kejadian plasenta previa di rumah sakit Dr. Moewardi Surakarta

The aim of this research is to find out wheither there is relationship between mom parity and placenta previa. We hold this research at obstetru and gynecology department, Dr. Moewardi hospital in Surakarta from Mei 17th-June 19th, 2010. This research is analitical study with cross sectional approach. From 1457 people of population, we took only 80 people for our samples that consist of 45 person multiparity mom and 35 person primiparity mom with fixed disease sampling technic. Data was gathered with medical record. It was gathered reported as table form and then analyzed with Chi Square test in significancy level α = 0,05 and Odds ratio. From the data we have gathered, we got the number of placenta previa at primiparity mom is smaller than multiparity mom. At multiparity mom the number of placenta previa is 21 cases (70%) and at primiparity mom 9 cases (30%). From data analyzed results on value of X2 = 3,688 and OR = 2,53; p=0,055 so suggested that statistically there is a relationship between mom parity and placenta previa.
