Proses stuffing pada PT. Indo Veneer Utama di Karanganyar

Tujuan penulisan Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses stuffing pada suatu perusahaan ekspor, hambatan dan kelebihan dalam proses stuffing, sistem penataan barang dalam kontainer. Penelitian dilakukan di PT Indo Veneer Utama yang merupakan salah satu perusahaan furniture di Karanganyar. Selama puluhan tahun PT Indo Veneer Utama telah berkecimpung dalam kegiatan ekspor industri furniture. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus yaitu mengambil satu objek tertentu untuk dianalisa secara mendalam dengan mengfokuskan pada satu masalah. Data primer adalah data yang diperoleh secara langsung dari obyek penelitian yaitu dengan wawancara langsung dengan karyawan, staf, dan pimpinan PT. Indo Veneer Utama, dan data berupa dokumen-dokumen berkaitan dengan ekspor dan stuffing. Sedangkan data sekunder data pendukung yang diperoleh dari sumber lain yang berkaitan dengan penelitian seperti buku-buku berkaitan masalah yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa alur proses stuffing pada PT Indo Veneer Utama memiliki 3 tahap, yaitu proses penerimaan barang ke gudang sebelum stuffing, proses stuffing, kegiatan setelah stuffing. Proses stuffing pada PT Indo Veneer Utama memiliki hambatan dalam penataan barang yang masih manual dengan perkiraan. Proses stuffing PT Indo Veneer Utama memiliki 3 kelebihan, yakni cepat dalam penyajian, tepat waktu dalam proses, dan memanfaatkan space. Dan dalam sistem penataan barang-barang di dalam kontainer, PT Indo Veneer Utama memiliki 6 kemungkinan posisi barang di dalam kontainer. Saran yang dapat diberikan untuk PT Indo Veneer Utama, hendaknya melakukan pengelolaan kinerja karyawan untuk kegiatan stuffing pada saat tertentu dengan penambahan karyawan untuk kelancaran kegiatan stuffing. Sebaiknya PT Indo Veneer Utama mengadakan pelatihan yang memadai bagi karyawan dalam pengelolaan software atau aplikasi untuk pengaturan stuffing atau dengan perekrutan karyawan baru yang mengenal baik dengan sistem informasi sehingga tingkat ketepatan, ketelitian penyusunan barang-barang semakin baik dan nyaman. The purpose of this final project is to investigate the process of stuffing at an export company, barriers and strengths in the process of stuffing, the arrangement of goodsin the container system. The study was conducted at PT Indo Veneer Utama is one of furniture company in Karanganyar. For decades PT Indo Veneer Utama has been in the furniture industry export activity. The method used is a case study that takes a certain object to be analyzed in depth with focuses on one issue. Primary data is data obtained directly from the object of research is by direct interviews with employees, staff, and leaders of PT. Indo Veneer Utama, and data in the form of documents relating to export and stuffing. While the data supporting secondary data obtained from other sources related to research such as books related to the problem under study. The results can be concluded that the flow process of stuffing the PT Indo Veneer Utama features 3 stages, namely the receipt of goods to the warehouse before stuffing, the stuffing, the activities after stuffing. The process of stuffing the PT Indo Veneer Utama barriers in goods that are still in the arrangement of the manual with the estimates. PT Indo Veneer stuffing process has three main advantages, namely fastin the presentation, on time in the process, and utilize space. And the system of arrangement of goods in the container, PT Indo Veneer Utama has 6 possible positions of the goods in the container. Advice can be given to PT Indo Veneer Utama, should conduct employee performance management for stuffing activity at a given time with the addition of stafffor the smooth operation of stuffing. PT Indo Veneer Main should hold a proper training for employees in the management software or an application for setting the stuffing or the recruitment of new employees are familiar with the information system so that the level of accuracy, precision drafting stuff better and comfortable.
