Encountered many cases the use of Rhodamin B dye in food substances due to lack of supervision by the government. These dyes are often used in snacks and sauces. Rhodamin B is a synthetic dye that is commonly used as textile dyes. This study aims to determine the effect of granting the dye Rhodamin B in the organogenesis of rats (Rattus norvegicus). This study used 28 pregnant female rats and were divided randomly into 4 groups with 7 mice per group. Each group was given different doses of Rhodamin B, 0 mg/200gBB given the control treatment, the treatment I was given 6.75 mg/200gBB, treatment II was given 12.5 mg/200gBB, and the treatment III was given 25 mg/200gBB. This treatment was given on seven to seventeen’ day during pregnancy (organogenesis). Evaluation includes the count and record the number of implantation comprising the number of live fetuses, the number of dead fetuses, the number of resorbs, weight, measurement of body length, fetal morphological observations, and structure sceleton observations. The results showed that administration of substances Rhodamin B substances are often found in snack foods and supplements can cause the effects of intrauterine death, and most likely lead to resorb, impaired growth and internal abnormalities.
