Evaluasi Sistem Akuntansi Penerimaan Kas pada PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Surakarta

PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Surakarta is a State Owned Enterprises which is operate the airport. Companies running multiple accounting systems, one of which is the accounting system of cash receipts. The company's cash receipts come from two main sources of cash receipts from cash sales and cash receipts from the repayment of receivables. In cash sales, customer transactions directly with the company and immediately came to make payments. In cash receipts for payment of accounts receivable, customer came to the company by paying a sum of money that were previously performed by the billing. Cash receipts accounting system designed to handle transactions of cash receipts from customers for cash is the most liquid assets that are instances of abuse. Therefore, the required design systems and procedures either in cash receipt transactions. In evaluating, the cash receipt system at PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Surakarta, the researchers conducted a study to observe and compare the Operational Standards and Procedures (SOP) that exist with the actual system implementation. Based on the information received, found several advantages, among others, have found the separation of the parts related to the duties and responsibilities, documents and accounting records are complete and made enough copies made, and the company has been using computerized systems with applications SIMKEU. Nevertheless, there are drawbacks such as flow charts in the SOP are not separated each part related, not source documents that use the serial number is printed, and still delays in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.Based on these results, researchers suggested that a flow chart of the SOP made it clear that separate each part related, so the information is presented for the procedure and the cash receipt system is self-explanatory. Besides the source document used should be given a printed serial number to prevent fraud, as well as to optimize the performance of staff in areas related to finance in order to avoid delays in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
