Sequences Java and Javanese traditional wedding process performed by the Javanese people, (2) The role of Photography in traditional Javanese wedding rituals, (3) The process and form the resulting image by Benning Photography in traditional Javanese wedding. The study is qualitative descriptive study, Reseach strategy was used a single case study of spikes. Source of data used utilizing informants, places and research, works, archives and documents. The data’s collection techniques are by observation, interviews, documentation. Sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The validation of data was using the tringulasi techniques of data and informants review. Data analysis technique used consists of three main components, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The procedure is the preparation stage of research , field work stage, the stage of data analysis, report preparation stage of the final result. Based on this research, we can conclude: (1) the background of traditional Javanese wedding comes from the cultural center of Java, there are Surakarta and Yogyakarta. In the tradition of Javanese culture, marriage is always marked by a series of ceremonies that contain noble values, which teaches the need for balance, harmony and interaction with the natural, social, and the creator of the universe, ranging from the preparation of the event, nglamar, peningset, sasrahan, Tarub, Siraman , midodareni, akad nikah dan panggih that all the ceremony and symbolize the meaning of Java, (2) Photography in traditional Javanese wedding is a very important role in cultures conserve in Java that has been displaced by age, for that photographers are required to further create on the result of his work in Javanese traditional marriage, (3) The process and form the resulting image Benning Photography in traditional Javanese wedding is all of the photos show the preparation on the top of the show is packed with a form of collage, it is hoped the public more easily understand and comprehend the symbolic meaning of a traditional wedding ceremony Java with an attractive photographs.
