Objective: Confined space is having a very high hazard potential, which could endanger the safety of a person who goes into it, one of them on the hydrant tank so that necessary to have prevention efforts to avoid accidents. The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of working in Confined Spaces. Methods: This study was carried out by using descriptive method to describe how the implementation of working in Confined Spaces. Data collection about the implementation of work in confined spaces is done through direct observation in the field, interviews with employees, and library research. The data obtained are then discussed and compared with standards. Results: This study describes the implementation of working in confined spaces in PT. Sari Husada Yogyakarta Unit I involve workplace preparation, personnel preparation, equipment preparation, aid preparation, implementation of work in confined space. The implementation on the field, among others: the cover area, work permits, air quality inspections, maintain of air quality, clean the crust, total employment, job rotation, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), the lighting in confined spaces, work place investigation after work implemented. In the implementation of work in confined spaces found several constraints such as weather, labor and equipment but the problem is under control. Conclusion: PT. Sari Husada Unit I Yogyakarta has already good the implementation of working in confined space have carried out in accordance with the applicable procedures under Law Number 1 of 1970 on Occupational Safety and largely in accordance with the Guidelines for Safety and Health Occupational in Confined Spaces by Directorate of Occupational Health Safety Norms.
