Development of the dairy farm business lately quite rapidly, this as a result of increased demand for milk is high enough. According to the department of trade and industry, (1998) prior to the economic crisis the growth of milk consumption in Indonesia reached 12.2% per year and according to PPHP Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture, (2005) after 1998 growth averaged 7.7% per year. Milk consumption rate does not offset domestic milk production is growing only at an average of 5.6% per year sebelurn 1998 and 2.8% during the last five years (2000-2004). To maintain production and quality of milk produced by dairy cows, can not be separated from the milking factor. Good management is needed milking and handling milk after milking. Implementation methods internship is to follow directly all activities and handling of dairy milking process conducted at the Center for Dairy Cattle Breeding Cattle Excellence (BBPTU-SP) Baturraden and data capture techniques conducted by means of observation, interview or interviews, field practice, and literature. The result of this observation showed milking in BBPTU-SP Baturraden done twice daily in the morning and afternoon. Milking is done in a modern way using a bucket system or bucket system. Handling of milk after milking is done in the rooms include milk and milk testing alcohol test, test the quality of milk with milk analyzer, and test rezazurin.
