Peningkatan keterampilan menulis argumentasi berwawasan multikultural dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning teknik two stay two stray pada siswa kelas X pemasaran 3 SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2012/2013

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses
pembelajaran dan keterampilan menulis argumentasi berwawasan multikultural
dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning teknik two stay two stray pada
siswa kelas X Pemasaran 3 SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta.
Penelitian dilaksanakan pada awal bulan Januari 2013 hingga pertengahan
Mei 2013. Subjek penelitian adalah guru bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas X
Pemasaran 3 SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta. Data berupa RPP, foto, hasil tes, catatan
lapangan, daftar nilai, dan catatan hasil wawancara. Sumber data meliputi:
informan, peristiwa pembelajaran, dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data
melalui observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumen. Uji validitas data menggunakan
triangulasi metode dan triangulasi sumber data. Teknik analisis data dengan
teknik analisis kritis dan teknik deskriptif komparatif. Indikator ketercapaian
sebesar 80%. Prosedur penelitian meliputi persiapan, survei awal, pelaksanaan
siklus, pengamatan, dan pelaporan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, penerapan model cooperative
learning teknik two stay two stray dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses
pembelajaran menulis argumentasi berwawasan multikultural. Penelitian ini juga
menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model dan teknik di atas, dapat
meningkatkan keterampilan menulis argumentasi berwawasan multikultural pada
siswa kelas X Pemasaran 3 SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta. Pada pratindakan jumlah
siswa yang memperoleh nilai di atas KKM (70) sebanyak 12 siswa (30%) dengan
nilai rata-rata sebesar 61,20. Pada siklus I siswa yang memperoleh nilai di atas
KKM meningkat menjadi 18 siswa (46%) kenaikan sebesar 16%. Nilai rata-rata
kelas sebesar 65,4 belum mencapai KKM. Pada siklus II sebanyak 29 siswa (74%)
atau meningkat sebesar 28% dari siklus I, dengan nilai rata-rata kelas naik
menjadi 71. Setelah dilakukan uji kompetensi siklus III, siswa yang dapat
mencapai nilai KKM sebanyak 34 siswa (87%) dengan nilai rata-rata 77,4. Pada
siklus III ini pencapaian nilai baik secara kualitas proses maupun hasil telah
mencapai ketuntasan yang lebih dari 80%. Selanjutnya, dapat disimpulkan bahwa
model cooperative learning teknik two stay two stray dapat meningkatkan kualitas
proses dan hasil pembelajaran menulis argumentasi berwawasan multikultural.
The objective of this research is to investigate the quality of the process
and the skill of the 10
th
-grade students of SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta majoring in
marketing to write argumentation with multicultural conceptions by implementing
the cooperative learning model of two stay two stray technique.
This research was conducted from the beginning of January 2013 to the
mid May 2013. The samples of this research consisted of the Indonesian language
teacher and the 10
th
-grade students of SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta majoring in
marketing. The data of this research consisted of the lesson plan, the photographs,
the results of the test, the field note, the list of scores, and the record of the
interviews. The data of this research were gathered from informant, learning
event, and document through observation, interview, test, and document. The
validity of this research was tested by using the method and data source
triangulations. The data were then analyzed by using the critical analysis
technique and the comparative descriptive technique. The indicator of
achievement reached 80%. The procedure of this research consisted of
preparation, initial survey, implementation of cycle, observation, and reporting.
The results of this research are as follows: (1) the number of students who
achieve the score above the minimal completeness criterion score (70) in the precycle stage is 12 students (30%) with the average score as much as 61.20; (2) the
number of students who achieve the score above the minimal completeness
criterion score in the first cycle rises up to 18 students (46%) or there is an
increase as much as 16% from the number in the pre-cycle stage with the class
average score of 65.4 which has not reached the minimal completeness score; (3)
the number of students who achieve the score above the minimal completeness
criterion score in the second cycle rises up to 29 students (74%) or there is an
increase as much as 28% from the number in the first cycle with the class average
score of 71; and (4) the number of students who achieve the score above the
minimal completeness criterion score in the third cycle rises up to 34 students
(87%) with the average score of 77.4. The score achievement in this third cycle
has achieved completeness of more than 80%. Based on the results of the
research, a conclusion is drawn that the implementation of the cooperative
learning model of two stay two stray technique can increase the quality of the
learning process and the learning result of writing argumentation with
multicultural conceptions.
