THE EFFECT OF MODIFICATION PRIMARY MODEL AND THERAPEUTIC COMMUNICATION IMPLEMENTATION IN WARD ROOM (PANEMBAHAN SENOPATI HOSPITAL OF BANTUL ) Rahayu Suhartini Maria¹, Ambar Mudigdo² Samsi Haryanto ³ Magister of Family Medicine Program Graduated Program Sebelas Maret University Abstract The modification primary model and therapeutic communications provide comprehensive nursing care and therapeutic correlation to the patient. This study aims to analyze the effect of the modification primary model and therapeutic communication implementation by nurses to the patient satisfaction in ward room of Panembahan Senopati Hospital of Bantul. This study used an analytic correlation method, with cross sectional study. The sample consisted of 30 primary nurses, 60 nurse associated, and 90 patients, where one primary nurse and two nurses associated are observed in the modification primary model and of therapeutic communication implementation and then 3 patients managed in the data collection by questionnaire then grouped, taken average scores into one unit of analysis X1 for implementation of the modification model primary, X2 for the implementation of Therapeutic Communication and Y for patient satisfaction, thus the unit of analysis to be 30X1, 30X2 and 30 Y. Data were analyzed using simple regression test and multiple regression helped with SPSS for Windows version 15.0. The study results showed that there is significant correlation between the implementation of modifications primary model to the patient satisfaction, and the higher the primary modification model implementation are higher the level of patient satisfaction too. Fhits: 23.169> Ftab 4.20 (1.28) and P = 0.000 <5% (0.05). R2 = 0.453 R = 0.673. Regression equation Y = 34.579 + 1.499 X1. There is a significant correlation between the implementation of therapeutic communication to the patient satisfaction, and higher therapeutic communication implementation are higher the patient satisfaction too, F hits: 23.169> F tab 4.20 (1.28) and F hits: 23.739> F tab 4.20 (1.28) and P = 0.000 <5% (0.0 5). R2 = 0.459 R = 0.677. Regression equation Y = 32.207 + 1.653 X2. There is significant correlation between the implementation of the primary model modification and therapeutic communication to the patient satisfaction, and the higher of modification primary model and therapeutic communication implementation are higher the level of satisfaction patients. F hits: 15.584> F tab (2,27) = 3.35 (1.27) and P = 0.000 <5% (0.0 5). R2 = 0.536 R = 0.732. Regression equation Y = 23.869 + 0.867 X1 + 0.986 X2.
