The Activities Of Surakarta Tourist Information Center To Improve The Services

This final project is based on the job training asTourist Information center staffs in DinasKebudayaandanPariwisata (DISBUDPAR) Surakarta. The objectives of this final project report are to describe the activities during the job training at the Tourist Information Center of Surakarta and to describe the services of Tourist Information Center (TIC) of SurakartaSolo. Based on the observation, it can be concluded that Surakarta TIC does various activities to improve the service continuously given to the tourists. It is done in order to give the best service to the tourists, so the number of tourists who visit Surakarta will increase. The activities done by Surakarta TIC are providing good accommodation and facilities such as a big sign of TIC, chairs, and tables, brochures of tourism Surakarta, serving the tourist well, promoting all of the tourism destinations to make the tourists easier to go there, and so on. x
