The Problems In Teaching Speaking To The Third Grade Students Of Sdn Ngoresan 80 Surakarta

This final project reportwas written based on the job training activities in SDN Ngoresan 80 Surakarta. The aims of this final project were to describe teaching speaking activities, to describe the problems and solution of teaching speaking to third grade students. The teaching-learning activity consisted of Building Knowledge of Field (BKOF), explanations, practice and assessments. The writer found some problems from the students and the writer as a teacher. The problems from students were pronouncing, and writing English words. The problems from the teacher werethe large number of studentsand lack of material. Based on the discussion, the suggestions were for English teacher in SDN Ngoresan 80 Surakarta, SDN Ngoresan 80 Surakarta and English Diploma Program. The English teacher, in SDN Ngoresan 80 Surakarta should motivate the student to study hard in speaking English. The elementary school (SDN Ngoresan 80 Surakarta) should to provide more facilities to support English teaching and learning. English Diploma Program, provide more preparation for studentsin the job training.
