        This final project report is written based on the job training done at PT
Angkasa Pura I Adisutjipto International Airport Yogyakarta for a month at the
General Affair and Communication Section. I did some jobs with my supervisor
of Public Relations Officer in PT Angkasa Pura I Adisutjipto International Airport
Yogyakarta. I helped my supervisor accomplish his jobs such as, making clipping,
distributing news cuttings, documentation events, editing and writing news,
making press releases, and handling the website of PT Angkasa Pura I Adisutjipto
International Airport Yogyakarta.
The objectives of this final project report are to analyze the effectiveness
of website as communication channel in PT Angkasa Pura I Adisutjipto
International Airport Yogyakarta and propose improvement of website in PT
Angkasa Pura I Adisutjipto International Airport Yogyakarta. So, this final project
report can help them improve the existing communication and keep good
reputation.
I propose improvement to make official website more effective. One of the
ways to improve website of PT Angkasa Pura I Adisutjipto International Airport
Yogyakarta is creating the hyperlink connecting the website to the Facebook and
Twitter of PT Angkasa Pura I Adisutjipto International Airport Yogyakarta. The
second one is always mentioning the official website address (www.adisutjiptoairport.
co.id) in responding all of the reviews and comments from guests via
Facebook and Twitter. The last one is using communicative language to respond
to the comments and reviews about PT Angkasa Pura I Adisutjipto International
Airport Yogyakarta.
Hopefully, this final project report can be a reference for the Public
Relations Officer of PT Angkasa Pura I Adisutjipto International Airport
Yogyakarta to increase the effectiveness of the website and beneficial to the
readers, especially those who are interested in Public Relations.
