This Research Applies A Descriptive Qualitative Research Which Was Conducted To Find Out The Types Of Apologizing Strategies, To Describe How Each Type Of Apology Strategy Has Applied By The Main Characters, And To Find Out The Factors Of Choosing Certain Apologizing Strategies. There Are 28 Data Which Contain Apologizing Expressions. This Research Was Analyzed By Using Cohen And Olstain Theory. There Are Five Types Of Apologizing Strategies Which Can Be Classified Into Seven Categories. The Most Frequently Used Of Apologizing Strategy Is Group E Which Consists Of An Explanation And An Acknowledgement Of Responsibility (46.4 %).. The Apologizing Expression Is Uttered By The Offender Directly Or Indirectly. The Direct Of Apologizing Strategy Means That The Offenders Use The Vocabularies Like Sorry, Pardon, Excuse, Or Forgive. Meanwhile, The Absence Of Those Vocabularies Is Considered As Indirect Apologizing Strategy. In Addition, The Strategy Of Apology Also Can Be Divided Into Simple And Complex Apologizing Strategies. The Simple Of Apologizing Strategy Is When The Offender Only Uses One Type Of Apologizing Strategy Meanwhile, The Complex Apologizing Strategy Is When The Offender Uses More Than One Type Of Apologizing Strategies. The Factors Of Choosing Certain Types Of Apologizing Strategies Are The Nature Of Infraction, The Severity Of Infraction, The Situation In Which The Infraction Occurs, And The Relative Familiarity Between The Characters. The Most Factor Which Is Leaded The Choosing Of Apology Strategy Is The Relative Familiarity Between The Characters The Result Of This Research Can Be Widen The Understandings Of The Types Of Apologizing Strategies, The Factors Of Choosing Apologizing Strategies, And How Each Type Of Apologizing Strategy Is Applied By The Main Characters. Every Human Being Does Not Always Say The Apology Directly By Uttering “Sorry”, But She Or He Might Express The Apology Indirectly Through Explaining The Reason Of Creating Mistakes. Thus, Other Researches On Apologizing Expressions Can Analyze The Different Context And Source Data Like Reality Show
