Penelitian ini membahas mengenai prinsip – prinsip dari lean manufacturing dalam industri eksport furniture. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatan produktifitas dengan cara mengurangi waste yang ada pada lantai produksi. Penelitian ini bermula dari penemuan ontime delivery perusahaan yang rendah yang disebabkan adanya keterlambatan proses produksi komponen. Value Stream Mapping (VSM) digunakan sebagai alat identifikasi awal proses produksi, sedangkan standardization work dan Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) digunakan sebagai alat analisis dan penerapan improvement. Penelitian ini secara nyata mampu diterapkan diperusahaan dan mampu mengurangi waste waiting sebesar 21,41 menit/siklus serta mempercepat waktu setup sebesar 104,56 menit/hari dengan peningkatan produk sebanyak 2,45 unit/ hari atau Rp2.940.000,00/hari Kata kunci: Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), Standardization Work This research discusses about the principles aspects of lean manufacturing in the scope of furniture export industry. The purpose of this research is improving productivity by reducing waste that exist on the production floor. This research started from the discovery of a low ontime delivery company that caused by the delay of components production process. Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is used as a tool of early identification of the production process whereas the standardization work and Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) is used as a tool of analysis and improvement implementation. Markedly, This research able to be applied in the company and was able to reduce the waste of waiting for 21.41 minutes / cycle and accelerate the setup time of 104.56 minutes / day with an increase in the product as much as 2.45 units / day or Rp2.940.000,00 / day Keywords: Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), Standardization Work
