Activities of Banquet Food & Beverage Attendant in Banquet Section at Novotel Solo

This final project report was written based on the job training which was
done by the writer in Novotel Solo from February 2014 until May 2014. The
writer took one of the sections in Novotel Solo, the Food and Beverage
Department (F&B Service), as F&B Attendant trainee at the Banquet Service. The
main purpose of Banquet service is handling events at Novotel Solo.
This report discusses activities of Banquet F&B Attendant at Novotel
Solo. It also discusses problems faced by the banquet section at Novotel Solo and
the solutions to overcome the problems in order to improve the quality of banquet
service. There were many problems faced by Novotel Solo, such as small number
of workers, limited equipment, lack of English skill, lack of meeting equipment
and bad coordination with other departments. The solutions to solve the problems
are recruit new staff or worker, add new equipment, make English skill training,
repair all meeting equipment permanently and make good coordination among
each department.
