Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji hubungan antara regulasi pemerintah dan family ownership terhadap corporate social responsibility disclosure. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling, sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 243 perusahaan dengan tipe high profile yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2006-2007. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda untuk menganalisis data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif signifikan antara family ownership terhadap corporate social responsibility disclosure. Namun, regulasi pemerintah tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap corporate social responsibility disclosure.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of regulation and family ownership on corporate social responsibility disclosure. This study employs pur-posive sampling method. Sample consists of 243 high profile listed companies at Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2006-2007. This study employs multiple regression to analysis the data. The results of this study shows that there is significant relationship between family ownership and corporate social responsibility disclosure. In contrast, there is no significant relationship between regulation and corporate social responsibility disclosure.
