ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan proses peserta didik melalui penerapan Model Pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dengan pendekatan Science Environment Technology and Society (SETS) pada materi kearifan dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya alam peserta didik kelas XI IIS 1 SMA Warga tahun ajaran 2014/2015, dan (2) untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar geografi melalui penerapan Model Pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dengan pendekatan Science Environment Technology and Society (SETS) pada materi kearifan dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya alam peserta didik kelas XI IIS 1 SMA Warga tahun ajaran 2014/2015.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan reflek si. Subyek penelitian ini adalah Kelas XI IIS 1 SMA Warga Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, angket, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) penerapan model pembelajaran guided inquiry dengan pendekatan Science Environment Technology and Society (SETS) terbukti secara empiris dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses peserta didik kelas XI IIS 1 SMA Warga Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 pada siklus II dengan persentase sebesar 81,25% peserta didik memiliki keterampilan proses tinggi, dan (2) penerapan model pembelajaran guided inquiry dengan pendekatan Science Environment Technology and Society (SETS) terbukti secara empiris dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar geografi kelas XI IIS 1 SMA Warga Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 pada siklus II dengan persentase hasil belajar kompetensi pengetahuan sebesar 81,5%, hasil belajar kompetensi sikap sebesar 84,37%, dan hasil belajar kompetensi keterampilan sebesar 90,62%.

The purpose of this research are (1) to improve the process skills of learners through the implementation of Guided Inquiry Learning using Environment Science Technology and Society (SETS) approach on knowledge utilization of natural resources class XI IIS 1 SMA Warga Surakarta academic year 2014/2015, and (2) to improve the learning outcomes of geography through the implementation of learning geography Guided Inquiry learning using Environment Science Technology and Society (SETS) approach on knowladge utilization of natural resources class XI IIS 1 SMA Warga Surakarta academic year 2014/2015. The method used is a Class Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisting of 4 stages, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 1 Class XI IIS 1 SMA Warga Surakarta academic year 2014/2015. The data collect in this research is the observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. Data analyzed using descriptive analysis of qualitative and quantitative. The results of this research are (1) the implementation of the model of guided inquiry using Environment Science Technology and Society (SETS) approach empirically proven to improve the process skills students of class XI IIS 1 SMA Warga Surakarta academic year 2014/2015 in the second cycle with a percentage of 81, 25% of learners have process skills high, and (2) the implementation of the model of guided inquiry using Environment Science Technology and Society (SETS) approach empirically proven to improve learning outcomes geography class XI IIS 1 SMA Warga Surakarta 2014/2015 academic year on the second cycle is the percentage of the learning outcomes of knowledge competencies 81.5% , the learning outcomes of attitude competencies 84.37%, and learning outcomes of competencies skills of 90,62%.
