The questionnaire was used to collect the data of students’ motivation; while the objectives test was used to collect the data of students’ vocabulary and students’ translation. The techniques which were used to analyze the data were Single Correlation and Multiple Correlation.
The results of the data analysis show that in the level of significance a = 0.05 (1) there is a positive correlation between students’ motivation and students’ translation (rx1y = 0.4012 > rt = 0.334); (2) there is a positive correlation between students’ vocabulary and students’ translation (rx2y = 57.11 > rt = 0.334); and (3) there is a positive correlation between students’ motivation, students’ vocabulary, and students’ translation (Ry12 = 0.63 and Fo = 10.69 > Ft = 3.35).
