ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas strategi pembelajaran tematik integratif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mematuhi peraturan di sekolah melalui pembelajaran IPS bagi anak tunagrahita kelas VI di SLB C Shanti Yoga Klaten tahun ajaran 2014/2015.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest Posttest Design, dikarenakan subjek penelitian diberikan perlakuan untuk jangka waktu tertentu dan pengaruh perlakuan diukur melalui perbedaan antara pengukuran awal (pretest) dan pengukuran akhir (posttest). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VI di SLB C Shanti Yoga Klaten yang berjumlah 7 siswa. Uji validitas dalam penelitian ini dengan uji validitas isi dengan hasil 20 soal pretest dan 20 soal posttest dinyatakan valid. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data statistik non parametrik yaitu analisis tes rangking bertanda dari Wilcoxon (wilcoxon sign rank test) dengan bantuan SPSS 20.
Dari hasil analisis deskriptif terdapat kenaikan perolehan nilai pre tes dan nilai post tes dalam penerapan strategi pembelajaran tematik integratif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mematuhi peraturan di sekolah dengan nilai mean pre tes sebesar 66,42 dan mean post tes sebesar 80,71 serta kenaikan standar deviasi dari 6,90 menjadi 7,86. Hasil analisis diperoleh dari hasil Z hitung sebesar -2,414 dengan probabilitas sebesar 0,016 yang berarti < 0,05.
Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah strategi pembelajaran tematik integratif efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mematuhi peraturan sekolah melalui pembelajaran IPS bagi anak tunagrahita kelas VI di SLB C Shanti Yoga Klaten tahun ajaran 2014.2015.

ABSTRACT
The objective of research was to find out the effectiveness of integrative thematic learning in improving the understanding of complying with the school rule through Social Science learning for the 6th mental retarded graders in SLB C Shanti Yoga of Klaten in the school year of 2014/2015.
This study was an experimental method with One Group Pretest Posttest Design, because the subject of research was treated for a certain period of time and the effect of treatment was measured using the difference of pretest and posttest. The population of research was the 6th mental retarded graders in SLB C Shanti Yoga of Klaten, consisting of 7 students. The validity test conducted in this study was content validity test suggesting that 20 items of pretest and 20 items of posttest were valid. Technique of analyzing data used was non-parametric statistical data analysis with Wilcoxon sign rank test, with SPSS 20 help.
From the result of descriptive analysis, there was an increase in pretest and posttest values obtained in the application of integrative thematic strategy in improving the understanding of complying with school rule with the mean pretest value of 66.42 and mean posttest value of 80.71 and the increase in standard deviation from 6.90 to 7.86. The result of analysis obtained z-statistic value of -2.414 with probability of 0.016 meaning < 0.05.
The conclusion of research was that the integrative thematic learning strategy effectively improved the understanding of complying with the school rule through Social Science learning for the 6th mental retarded graders in SLB C Shanti Yoga of Klaten in the school year of 2014/2015.
