The objective of this research is to investigate the effect of fiber length variations on the tensile strength, bending strength, and composite thermal properties of Agave Cantula Roxb-HDPE. The length variations of the fiber used were 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 mm. The composite was made according to the pressing and heating principles. The fraction of the volume of the cantula fiber was 0.5 treated with NaOH of 2% for six hours. The formation of specimen for bending testing employed ASTM D 6272, and that of specimen for tensile strength testing used ASTM D 638. The thermal properties were investigated by using the tests of Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) and Derivative Thermogravimetry (DTG). The result of the research shows that the fiber length variations affect the tensile strength, the bending strength, and the composite thermal properties. The composite with the fiber length of 10 mm has the highest tensile and bending strengths, namely 23.52 MPa and 74.21 MPa respectively. The result of the TGA testing shows that the composite with the length of 10 mm has the heat stability at the temperature of 244 °C. It has a difference of 1 °C higher than the composite with the fiber length of 1 mm. The result of the DTG testing shows that the composite with the length of 10 mm has the highest weight at the temperature of 445 °C. This temperature is 45 °C higher than that of the composite with the fiber length of 1 mm. The length of fiber which can be used for strengthening the composite is that of fiber above the critical length of 7.89 mm. The composite with the fiber length of 10 mm is the one which has the highest mechanical strength and the best thermal resistance
