ABSTRAK
Traveling merupakan aktivitas yang banyak digemari oleh masyarakat atau
disebut juga dengan para traveler. Informasi seputar traveling adalah hal yang sangat
penting, maka dari itu informasi tersebut harus bersifat akurat dan lengkap. Selain itu,
aktivitas traveling menguntungkan bagi para pihak-pihak terkait dalam menjual
produk/jasa mereka. Mobile application adalah media informasi yang tepat bagi para
traveler karena cepat dan mudah mengaksesnya. Tujuan dari proyek tugas akhir ini
untuk membuat aplikasi sebagai sarana informasi bagi traveler dan membuat aplikasi
sebagai sarana pengolah informasi bagi pihak yang terkait.
Dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Android berbasis Java, maka
dibangun lah suatu Aplikasi Story Tour Berbasis Android. Aplikasi ini menyediakan
fitur pencarian wisata berdasarkan kategori atau kota. Fitur-fitur tersebut disediakan
untuk mempermudah user dalam memperoleh informasi suatu tempat wisata.
Aplikasi Story Tour Berbasis Android ini dapat memenuhi kebutuhan informasi wisata
serta memberi wadah untuk berbagi cerita wisatanya.
ABSTRACK
Traveling is an activity that is much loved by the community or also called the traveler.
Information about traveling is very important, therefore the information should be
accurate and complete. In addition, the activity of traveling favorable to the related
parties in selling their products / services. Mobile application is a medium appropriate
information for the traveler because it is quick and easy to access. The purpose of this
final project to make the application as a means of information for travelers and make
the application as a means of processing information for the parties concerned.
By using Android programming language based on Java, then built was an Android-
Based Application Story Tour. This application provides features travel search by
category or city. These features are provided to facilitate users in obtaining information
a tourist spot.
Story Tour-Based Android application can meet the needs of travel information as well
as provide a forum to share stories of tourism.
