ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan (1) hubungan pemahaman Museum Aceh dengan hasil belajar sejarah pada siswa SMAN di Kecamatan Kuta Alam; (2) hubungan kesadaran sejarah dengan hasil belajar sejarah pada siswa SMAN di Kecamatan Kuta Alam; dan (3) hubungan antara pemahaman Museum Aceh dan kesadaran sejarah secara bersama-sama dengan hasil belajar sejarah pada siswa SMAN di Kecamatan Kuta Alam.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMAN di Kecamatan Kuta Alam yang terdiri atas dua sekolah yaitu SMAN 8 Banda Aceh dan SMAN 12 Banda Aceh berjumlah 100 siswa kelas XI IPS. Ukuran sampel penelitian berjumlah 78 siswa. Ukuran sampel ditentukan berdasarkan Tabel Issac dan Michael. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dan angket. Tes digunakan untuk mengukur variabel pemahaman Museum Aceh dan hasil belajar sejarah sedangkan angket digunakan untuk mengukur variabel kesadaran sejarah. Uji coba instrumen tes dilakukan untuk tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda dan reliabilitas. Uji coba kuesioner untuk mengetahui uji validitas butirdan reliabilitas. Uji prasyarat analisis meliputi uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, uji linieritas. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi, regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pemahaman Museum Aceh (X1) dengan hasil belajar sejarah (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,250 dan nilai ?? value (0,027< 0,05). (2) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kesadaran sejarah (X2) dengan hasil belajar sejarah (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,234 dan nilai ?? value (0,039 < 0,05). (3) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan secara bersama pemahaman Museum Aceh (X1) dan kesadaran sejarah (X2) dengan hasil belajar sejarah (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi ganda sebesar 0,317 dan nilai ?? value (0,019 <0,05).

ABSTRACT
The objectives of the research are to find: (1) the relation between Aceh Museum Understanding and Historical study result of SMAN students in Kuta Alam district. (2) relation between historical awareness with historical study result of SMAN students in Kuta Alam district; (3) relation between Aceh Museum Understanding and historical awareness altogether with the result of historical study of SMAN stduents in Kuta Alam District. The type of this research is ex-post facto with co-relational research design. The population of the research is all students of SMAN in Kuta Alam districh, which consist of two schools; SMAN 8 Banda Aceh and SMAN 12 Banda Aceh in total 100 students of grade XI social class. the size of the sample is determined based on the Isaac and Michael Table. Data collection method uses test method and questionnaire. Test method measures the variable of Aceh Museum understanding and historical study result. Whereas, quessionare is used to measure the historical awareness variable. Trial test instrument is done for adversity level, potential differentiator , and reliability. Questionnaire trial is done to find out the validity and reliability. Perquisite test analysis covers normality test, multi-co linearity test, linearity test. Data collecting technique used are correlation analysis, simple regression, and double regression.
The result of the research shows: (1) there is a significant positive relation between Aceh Museum understanding (X1) with the result of historical study (Y) with coefficient correlation as many as 0,250 dan P value (0,027<0,05). (2) there is a significant positive between historical awareness (X2) with the result of historical study (Y) with coefficient correlation as many as 0,234 and P value (0,039<0,05). (3) there is a significant positive relation altogether between Aceh Museum understanding (X1) and historical awareness (X2) with the result of historical study (Y) with coefficient correlation as much as 0,317 and P value (0,019<0,05).
