Pengembangan Modul Berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) Disertai Diagram Pohon pada Materi Fotosintesis Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sawoo

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui:1) karakteristik modul berbasis PBL disertai diagram pohon pada materi Fotosintesis; 2) kelayakan modul berbasis PBL disertaidiagram pohon pada materi Fotosintesis; 3) keefektifanpenggunaan modul berbasis PBL disertaidiagram pohon pada materi Fotosintesis kelas VIII untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan mengacu kepada metode penelitian pengembangan modifikasi Borg dan Gall (1983) menjadi 9 tahap, yaitu: 1)penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi; 2) perencanaan;3) pengembangan produk awal; (4) uji coba lapangan awal; 5) revisi; 6) uji coba lapangan utama; 7) revisi; 8)uji lapangan operasional; 9) revisi produk akhir.Penelitian pengembangan meliputi uji coba lapangan awal, yaitu validator ahli berjumlah 3 orang, subyekuji coba lapangan utama sejumlah 22 siswa dan 2 orang praktisi ahli, subyek uji  lapangan operasional 32 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sawoo. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakantes dan non tes (wawancara, angket, observasi). Uji lapangan operasional menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design. Data hasil belajar dianalisis dengan Paired sample t-test untuk mengetahui hasil pretest dan posttestdan dihitung menggunakan N-gain score.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) karakteristik modul berbasis PBL disertai diagram pohon pada materi Fotosintesis meliputi: belajar mandiri sesuai dengan kemampuan siswa, melatih kemampuan memecahkan masalah dengan pembelajaran sesuai sintaks PBL, mengaitkan konsep relevan dengan diagram pohon, integrasi PBL dengan diagram pohon meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor; 2) kelayakan modul berbasis PBL disertai diagram pohon pada materi Fotosintesis berdasarkan penilaian ahli termasuk kategori sangat baik (84,76%); 3)keefektifan modul berbasis PBL disertai diagram pohon ditunjukkan melaluiN-gain score termasuk kategori sedang (0,41) dengan hasil belajar siswa setelah diberikan modul pembelajaran dengan nilai aspek kognitif termasuk kategori baik (79,91), aspek psikomotorik temasuk kategori sangat baik (85), aspek afektif termasuk kategori sangat baik (91).

ABSTRACT
This research aims to: 1) find of the characterized of learningmodule based on PBLwith tree diagram in material Photosynthesis; 2) test the feasibility of module based on PBL with tree diagram in material Photosynthesis; 3) test the effectiveness of module based on PBLwith tree diagram in material Photosynthesis at VIII Grade of State Junior High School.
The research design is used to describe a modification of the research design development modification of Borg and Gall (1983) may include 9 stages namely: 1) research and collecting information; 2) planning;3) develop preliminary form product;4) preliminary field test; 5) main product revision; 6) main field testing; 7) operational product revision; 8) operational field testing; 9) final product revision.The module development include field testing expert judgment consisting 3 validators, main field testing respondent consisting 22 students, and 2 teachers, and operational field testing respondents consisting of 32 students at VIII grade of State Junior High School 1 Sawoo. The technique of collecting data of research were gathered through test and non-test (questionnaire, observation, in-depth interview).The operational field testing was conducted using one group pretest- posttest design. Students’ cognitive aspectof learning result were tested by paired sample t-test and counted by N-gain score. .
The result of research shows that: 1) the characteristic of module based on PBL with tree diagram in material Photosynthesis are: self-directed as students ability, exercise student ability to solve the problem using PBL, and to exercise student ability link concepts using tree diagram; 2) the result of learning module based on PBL with tree diagram is feasible to be applied in material Photosynthesis. The result of validation by expert of learning on the develop module categorized very good, teachers categorized very good(98,66%), and students categorized very good (84,08%); 3) the effectiveness of module based on PBL with tree diagram indicate that the module is feasible and effective to improve the student’s learning result in material Photosynthesis at VIII grade of State Junior High School 1  of Sawoo with 0,41 N-gain score that “middle” categories, by average scores of the cognitive is 79,91 (good), psychomotor 85 (very good), and affective 91 (very good).
