Pengaruh Media Pembelajaran Audio Visual terhadap Praktik Simulasi Teknik Kondom Kateter pada Mahasiswa Kebidanan di RSUD Karanganyar

INTISARI
Latar Belakang: Pembelajaran konvensional berkurang, mengakibatkan
keaktifan mahasiswa berkurang.Model pembelajaran audio visual merupakan
media pembelajaran yang efektif, melibatkan indra penglihatan dan pendengaran
sehingga mendorong mahasiswa memiliki pengetahuan ketrampilan optimal.
Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran terhadap praktik
simulasi teknik kondom kateter pada mahasiswa Kebidanan.
Metode: Eksperimen dengan rancangan randomized post test only control group.
Penelitian dilaksanakan di RSUD Kabupaten Karanganyar. Pengambilan data
secara random sampling sebanyak 30 responden,kelompok kontrol (15 responden)
dan kelompok perlakuan (15 responden). Analisis data menggunakan uji t tes
independen
Hasil: Metode pembelajaran konvensional pada praktik simulasi tehnik kondom
kateter pada mahasiswa kebidanan dengan skor rerata 79.55 metode
pembelajaran dengan audio visual pada praktik simulalasi tehnik kondom kateter
pada mahasiswa kebidanan dengan skor rerata 83.88 dan nilai p=0.01.
Simpulan: Ada pengaruh metode pembelajaran aodio visual terhadap paktik
simulasi tehnik kondom kateter pada mahasiswa kebidanan

ABSTRACT
Background: Conventional learning put the students as the learning objects. As a
result, the students have less activeness in the learning. Conversely, the audio
visual learning model is an effective learning media which involves the senses of
sight and hearing, which encourage the students to gain knowledge optimally.
Objective: To investigate the effect of learning media on the simulation practice
of condom catheter technique of midwifery students.
Metode: This research used the experimental method with the randomized post
test only control group design. It was conducted at Local General Hospital of
Karanganyar Regency. The samples of research were taken by using the random
sampling technique. They consisted of 30 respondents and were divided into two
groups, 15 respondents in control group and 15 in experimental group. The data of
research were analyzed by using the independent t-test.
Result: With the conventional learning method, the average score in the
simulation practice of condom catheter technique of midwifery students was
79.55 whereas with the audio visual learning method, it was 83.88 as indicated by
the p-value of 0.01.
Conclusion: There was an effect of the audio visual learning method on the
simulation practice of condom catheter technique of midwifery students.
