Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan terhadap Sikap Ibu tentang Toilet Training pada Anak Usia 1-3 Tahun di Kelurahan Jebres Surakarta

Latar Belakang:Toilet training merupakan salah satu tugas perkembangan anak usia 1-3 tahun yang penerapannya tergantung pada sikap dan cara orang tua dalam melatih. Sebanyak 80%ibu belum mengajari anaknya toilet training dan 60% ibu memiliki kebiasaan kurang tepat dalam menghadapi anak yang tidak dapat melakukan buang air di toilet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap sikap ibu tentang toilet training anak usia 1-3 tahun.
Metode: Jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan non-equivalent control group design. Teknik sampling menggunakantotal sampling dengan jumlah sampel 40 responden terdiri 20 kelompok eksperimen dan 20 kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner yang telah dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney dengan a= 5%.
Hasil: Nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen pretest 105,25 dan postest129 sedangkan kelompok kontrol pretest 103,30 dan posttest 112,50. Hasil analisis Mann-Whitney yaitu p = 0.031.
Simpulan: Terdapat pengaruh antara pendidikan kesehatan tentang toilet training anak usia 1-3 tahun dengan sikap ibu.

ABSTRACT
Background: Toilet Training is one of child development duty in age 1-3 years. Toilet Training, which applied for children, is depending on attitude and the way parents train. As much as 80% of mothers had not taught their child to toilet training and 60% of mothers still have bad habits to handle their child when child cannot defecate and urination in toilet. This research is purpose to know the effect of healthy education for mother’s attitude about toilet training for children in age 1-3 years.
Method: The research uses quasi experiment design that is design by non-equivalent control group design. Sampling technique that used is total sampling with total sample is 40 respondents, which consist of 20 experiment groups and 20 control groups. Research instrumentation uses questionnaire, which had been testing for validity and reliability.  Data analysis is using Mann-Whitney test.
Result: The average value on experiment groups to pre-test is 105.25 and post-test is 129, meanwhile in control groups to pre-test is 103.30 and post-test is 112.50. Then the result of Mann-Whitney analysis is p=0.031.
Conclusion: There are effect between healthy education about toilet training for children in age 1-3 years and mother’s attitude.
