Latar Belakang: Skor yang dimiliki oleh Sekolah Alam adalah 65,40 dengan kategori kecerdasan emosional yang tinggi dalam model pembelajaran experiental learning sedangkan untuk sekolah reguler memiliki skor 67, 73 dengan kategori lebih tinggi dibanding sekolah alam dalam menggunakan kurikulum 2006. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui adanya perbedaan kecerdasan emosional anak pada Sekolah Alam dengan Sekolah Reguler.
Metode: Observasional analitic dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Sekolah Alam Bengawan Solo dan SDN 01 Serenan, Juwiring, Jawa Tengah. Pengambilan data secara total sampling sebanyak 64 responden, terbagi menjadi Sekolah Alam dan Sekolah Reguler. Analisis data menggunakan uji Mann Whitney.
Hasil: Sekolah Alam Bengawan Solo memiliki persentase kecerdasan emosional cukup (16,7%), baik (80%), sangat baik (3.3%), sedangkan persentase kecerdasan emosional SDN 01 Serenan cukup (6,7%), baik (86,7%) dan sangat baik (6,7%).
Kesimpulan: Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan tentang kecerdasan emosional pada Sekolah Alam Bengawan Solo dan Sekolah Reguler dengn nilai p=0.201.

Background: The average score of the children at Natural School was 65.40 whereas that of the children at regular school was 67.73 with the high emotional quotient category in the learning model of Experimental Learning. The score of the latter was higher than that of the former in the use of the 2006 curriculum.
Objective: To investigate the difference of emotional quotient between the children at Bengawan Solo Natural School and those at regular school.
Method: This research used the observational analytical method with the cross-sectional approach. It was conducted at Bengawan Solo Natural School and at regular school of State Primary School 01 of Serenan, Juwiring, Central Java. The samples of research consisted of 64 respondents from the two schools. They were taken by using the total sampling technique. The data of research were analyzed by using the Mann Whitney Test.
Result: At Bengawan Solo Natural School, the percentage of children with the fair emotional quotient was 16.7%, that of children with the good emotional quotient was 80%, and that of children with the very good emotional quotient was 3.3%. Meanwhile at regular school of State Primary School 01 of Serenan, the percentage of children with the fair emotional quotient was 6.7%, that of children with the good emotional quotient was 86.7%, and that of children with the very good emotional quotient was 6.7%.
Conclusion: There was not any significant correlation of emotional quotient between the children at Bengawan Solo Natural School and those at regular school as indicated by the p-value = 0.201
