Peningkatan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Dan Penurunan Miskonsepsi Melalui Penerapan E-Module Berbasis Problem-Based Learning Pada Materi Ekologi Peserta Didik Kelas X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015

Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan menurunkan miskonsepsi melalui penerapan e-module berbasis Problem-Based Learning pada materi Ekologi peserta didik kelas X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015.  
Penelitian merupakan  Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas 4 tahap yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta yang terdiri dari 11 siswa laki-laki dan 19 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes uraian  untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis, tes pilihan ganda beralasan terbuka untuk mengukur miskonsepsi, serta observasi dan wawancara sebagai data pendukung. Data dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif meliputi tiga komponen yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validasi data menggunakan  triangulasi metode. Target penelitian yaitu kemampuan berpikir kritis meningkat 20% dan miskonsepsi pada  materi Ekologi berkurang 20% pada akhir siklus penelitian.  
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatkan pada setiap aspek kemampuan berpikir kritis dari Pra-Tindakan/Siklus I/Siklus II yaitu: aspek interpretasi 59,17%/71,67%/80,00%; aspek analisis 55,00%/67,5%/75,42%; aspek evaluasi 35,00%/65,00%/75,00%; aspek kesimpulan 58,33%/67,5%/97,5%;  aspek penjelasan 39,17%/70,00%/71,67%; dan aspek pengaturan diri 44,17%/57,5%/70,00%. Ditinjau dari miskonsepsi, terjadi penurunan  dari   Pra-Tindakan/Siklus I/Siklus II yaitu: konsep populasi 55,56%/35,93%/21,11%; ,konsep komunitas 54,17%/28,15%/11,11%; konsep rantai dan jaring-jaring makanan 52,22%/ 20,74%/18,15%; dan konsep ekologi salingtemas 56,67%/29,63%/28,52%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan penurunan miskonsepsi melalui penerapan e-module berbasis Problem-Based Learning pada materi Ekologi peserta didik kelas X MIPA 1 SMA N 5 Surakarta.

This research aimed to improve students’ critical thinking abilities and reduce misconception through the application of e-module based on ProblemBased Learning on Ecology material for the 10 th  grade students of 1 Science Class at 5 th State Senior High School Surakarta in Academic Year 2014/2015.
This research was a Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of research was the students in X MIPA 1 of SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta in Academic Year 2014/2015, consisting of 11 boys and 19 girls. Techniques of collecting data used were essay test to assess students’ critical thinking abilities, open ended reasoning of two-tier diagnostic test to assess misconception, observation and interview as the data proponents. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative technique consists of three components: data reduction, data presentation, and taking the conclusion. Data validation was conducted using triangulation method. Target of the research is all aspects of critical thinking abilities improve 20% and misconception on Ecology material reduce 20% at the end of the cycle.  
The result of research showed that there was improved  in each aspect   students’ critical thinking abilities from Pre-Cycle/1 st  Cycle/2 Cycle: interpretation 59,17%/71,67%/80,00%; analysis 55,00%/67,5%/75,42%; evaluation 35,00%/65,00%/75,00%; conclusion 58,33%/ 67,5%/97,5%; explanation 39,17%/70,00%/71,67%; and self regulation 44,17%/57,5%/70,00%. Evaluated from misconception, there was reduced misconception on Ecology material from  Pre-Cycle/1 st Cycle/2nd Cycle: population 55,56%/35,93%/21,11%; community 54,17%/ 28,15%/11,11%; food chain and web 52,22%/20,74%/18,15%; and science, environment, technology and community (salingtemas) ecology 56,67%/29,63%/28,52%. Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that there are improving students’ critical thinking abilities and reducing misconception through the application of e-module based on Problem-Based Learning on Ecology material for the 10 State Senior High School Surakarta.  th  grade students of 1 st st nd  Science Class at 5
