ABSTRAK
2014. Pusat Musik pada umumnya memiliki permasalahan pada kurangnya fasilitas pendukung baik yang bersifat entertaiment maupun edukasi, serta atmosfer interior yang kurang menarik. Kurangnya perhatian pengelola akan perancangan interiornya disebabkan karena mereka hanya mengutamakan penjualan produk dan jasa tanpa memperhatikan segi psikologis pengunjung. Oleh sebab itu, perlu dirancang sebuah interior Pusat Musik Rock and Roll yang mampu menyediakan semua kebutuhan pengunjung dalam satu tempat Perancangan interior yang berkesan Industrial yang berbeda dari Pusat Musik pada umumnya dapat terwujud dengan memperhatikan sisi psikologis pengunjung.
Ide gagasan dari Desain Interior Pusat Musik Rock and Roll ini adalah Industrialism, yakni sebuah tren dalam seni kreatif yang dihasilkan sekitar tahun 1960 dimana merupakan gaya yang muncul saat musik Rock and Roll mulai berkembang menjadi musik Rockabillity, ditandai dengan campuran gaya dan sedikit sentuhan modern, mengeksplorasi tema ketegangan antara masa lalu dan masa depan dimana pengunjung juga seakaan bernostalgia ketika mengunjungi Pusat Musik Rock and Roll di Jakarta ini.
Tujuan dari perencanaan Pusat Musik Rock and Roll ini adalah sebagai sarana penunjang dengan sifat fungsional dan estetis, sebagi pusat entertaiment dan edukasi bagi para penggemar musik Rock nd Roll. Sehingga berbagai macam elemen didalamnya diharapkan mampu menunjang setiap kegiatan melalui penerapan prinsip-prinsip desain
Adapun metodologi yang digunakan adalah dengan pengumpulan data berupa hasil wawancara, studi kepustakaan/ literatur, dan studi lapangan.
