This research is classroom action research consisting of two cycles. The subject of this research is students of class X 3 of SMAN Kebakkramat. The method of data collection used is observation, written test, interview, and documentation. This research is descriptive qualitative. The validity of data uses data triangulation technique.

The score of community concept in the first cycle is 54,94% while in the second cycle is 24,69%. The score of food chain and food websconcept in the first cycle is 34,57% while in the second cycle is 22,53%. The score of ecology application in SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) contextin the first cycle is 65,12% while in the second cycle is 42,90%. The result score of logical thinking varies as well. The score of generalization indicatorin the first cycle is 51,39% and in the second cycle is 59,26%. The score of analogy indicatorinthe first cycle is 56,48% and in the second cycle is 61,11%.The score of causal relationinthe first cycle is 50,46% and in the second cycle is 53,70%.The score ofcategorial silogismein the first cycle is 55,56% and in the second cycle is 62,04%.
