ABSTRAK
Latar belakang proyek Tugas Akhir perancangan ini adalah mengolah visual geometri menjadi motif ikat celup yang akan difungsikan menjadi blus remaja putri. Alasan pemilihan visual ikat celup karena memiliki visual yang khas dan menarik yakni pada visual geometri, sekaligus menawarkan inovasi motif yang unik dan menarik.
Tujuan proyek Tugas Akhir perancangan ini adalah mengembangkan desain motif dengan pengolahan visual geometri ikat celup dengan pertimbangan arah fungsinya sebagai blus remaja putri.
Metode yang dipakai dalam proyek Tugas Akhir perancangan ini yaitu metode desain. Metode ini melewati 3 tahap yakni metode perancangan, konsep perancangan dan visualisasi. Untuk metode perancangan melewati tahap Analisis permasalahan, Strategi pemecahan masalah, Pengumpulan data, Uji coba, dan menentukan gagasan awal perancangan. Konsep perancangan meliputi landasan pemikiran untuk perancangan desain tugas akhir. Visualisasi yakni tahap memvisualkan konsep rencana perancangan yang sudah ditulis dalam proses perancangan.
Hasil perancangan tugas akhir ini sebagai berikut: (1) Perancangan motif ikat celup untuk blus remaja putri dengan mengolah geometri berhasil membuat 12 desain motif (desain panel). Keseluruhan desain motif mengolah visual geometri berupa garis dan bidang yang disusun secara teratur, sehingga menghasilkan guratan warna ekspresif dan dinamis. Motif geometri secara tidak langsung menciptakan efek tiga dimensi dan menjadi kekuatan visual. (2) Pengaplikasian desain motif yang keseluruhan panel ke blus remaja putri menghasilkan pakaian yang berkesan feminin dan kasual. Kriteria pengaplikasian desain motif untuk remaja putri, dimana mereka lebih menyukai dengan sesuatu yang baru dan produk ini akan dibuat secara massal.

ABSTRACT
The background of this final project is processing geometrical visualization to form tie dye motive applied for girls’ blouse. Tie dye motive is chosen because it creates geometrical visualization which has special and interesting appearance. In addition, it offers the innovation of special and interesting motive.
This final project is aimed at developing motive design by processing tie dye geometrical visualization which is going to be applied for girl blouse.
The method used in the design is design method. This method was carried out through three steps, namely design method, design concept, and visualization. The design method consists of three stages, e.g. analysis, trial, and determining the initial idea of design. Meanwhile, the design concept includes the basic thought for the final project design. Visualization is the stage of visualizing the concept of planned-design that has been written in the design process.
The results of this final project are as follows: (1) the design of tie dye motive by processing geometry has produced 12 motive designs. The whole motive designs employed geometrical visualization in the form of lines and shapes ordered regularly, so expressive and dynamic colors were created. Geometrical motive indirectly creates 3D effects and strong visualization; (2) the application of motive design on girl blouse resulted on feminine and casual clothes. The application of motive design was based on the consideration that girls prefer something new and that this product will be largely produced.
