The objective of research was to find out the documentation process of processed wood product export in PT. Rakabu Furniture. The method employed in this research was a descriptive analytical one, by interpreting (reading, listening to and comparing) the existing data and then elaborating it to draw a conclusion. The data used in this research included primary and secondary ones. Primary data included the result of direct interview with those related, in this case staffs and employees of PT. Rakabu Furniture. Secondary data derived from books, internet, and guidelines of PT. Rakabu Furniture.
The result of research showed that the documentation process of legality was carried out by PT. Rakabu Furniture starting from the development of Business Establishment Deed, SIUP, TDP, NPWP, IUI, HO, and ETPIK. Another result obtained was that PT. Rakabu Furniture was qualified in documentation process from basic material purchasing to ready-to-be exported product. The last result obtained from this research showed that PT Rakabu Furniture encountered some constraints with documentation process of processed wood product due to such factors as human error in document preparing process, dysfunction of supporting factor in document preparing process, and delayed reception of Surveyor’s report (LS) document.
The recommendation given was that the company should improve coordination and communication to Sucofindo, recalling that Sucofindo played an important part in the process of delivering export product smoothly. Employee performance became principal in this matter.
