ABSTRAK
This final project report is written based on the job training done at the CV
Explore Solo in one month. It is about the strategies of promoting Dieng Plateau by
using booklet. The data of this report were obtained by doing survey and interview. The
survey was conducted during the job training in Dieng Plateau.
The objectives of this report are to explain about the steps of making a booklet to
promote Dieng Plateau and to identify and solve the problems in the processes of
making the booklet entitled Million Enchantment of Dieng Plateau.
The result of the final project shows that there are many steps in making booklet.
They are surveying through Internet, data processing, background processing, and
making the booklet. To explain about the steps, the writer describes the tourism objects,
such as Dieng Plateau, Telaga Warna, Pengilon Lake, etc.
The problems and solutions are as follows: lacks of experience in finding a region
with its tourism objects and difficulty in using PhotoShop application. Those problems
are solved by asking the writer’s supervisor to give a hint to explore potential tourism
area in Dieng. The writer used the Internet to know more about the region and asking
the writer’s job training supervisor because he understands difficulties in preparing the
booklet. He suggested that the writer should have more practices using the skills as
photo editor to get good pictures.
