ABSTRAK
The purpose of the study to determine the effect of bank characteristics (Size, LDR, NPL and CAR) and the structure of the banking market (Statistics Panzar-Rosse H, Herfindhal Hirschman Index) of financial performance (ROA, ROE and NIM). As well as moderating variables of ownership structure (Dummy: Foreign Bank and Bank Domestic) strengthen the influence of the relationship between the two variables. By using purposive sampling techniques, this study used a sample of 32 from 119 population that registered at Financial Service Authority (OJK) in the period 2011-2015. Methods of data analysis using descriptive analysis and multiple linear analysis. Overall the data is tested using F test and t test. Therefore we can conclude these results indicate that the characteristics of the Bank has significant influence on financial performance.While Banking market structure did not have a significant effect on financial performance. As well, the role of the Foreign Bank does not strengthen the influence of the characteristics of the Bank and the Banking Market Structure on Financial Performance.
