Mewujudkan Kualitas Pembelajaran IPS Terpadu Melalui Team Teaching

Based Education Unit Level Curriculum (SBC) subjects IPS is a subject that must be given in the SMP / MTs. IPS contains materiaI subjects of Geography, History, Economics and Sociology. Through social studies, students can be directed to citizens of Indonesia that is democratic, accountable, and peace-loving citizens of the world. Based on the SBC and the Regulation of the Minister of National Education, the practice of teaching social studies SMP / MTs must be integrated, then the alternative model of learning is team teaching. Teaching and team teaching method is a method in which educators teach more than one person, each of which work together, has the task (planning, implementing and evaluating PBM) that correspond to areas of expertise and abilities.
In exercising Taeching Team learning there are two types, namely: semi Team Teaching Team Teaching and full. Pembelajarannnya stages include the initial stage, the core phase and evaluation phase. Team Teaching Excellence from the application of which is (1) Team Teaching can be more ripe for teaching planning, (2) Teaching Team to ensure effective monitoring of learning, (3) Team Teaching, is expected to build a culture of positive partnerships between tea chers so intertwined work together ( collaboration) in improving the learning process better, ( 4) Team teaching intensive to establish communication between teachers, and (5) Team teaching can be an alternative to meet the burden of teaching 24 hours a week.
