This report was written based on the internship program conducted at Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata of Papua Barat as translator and author from July 28th, 2017 toAugust 28th, 2017, at 10.00 a.m to 03.00 p.m in weekdays. The acitivity was creating bilingual tourism promotional booklets in Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata of Papua Barat. The writer used Nababan’s theory of translation as a guidance in the translation process, they are analyzing, transferring, and restructuring. There were seven articles about various topics of tourism places that the writer created. The problems faced were translating some deciding appropriate word and finding unfamiliar words. There were several ways done to solve the problems; they were looking for unfamiliar words on
online and offline dictionaries, discussing them with the internship supervisor, and revising dictions of the articles.
