ABSTRACT
This report was written based on the internship program at PT Inspirasi Filosofi Indonesia for about seven weeks, three weeks at Insfilo and four weeks at Translexi started from 22nd January to 9th March 2018. The objectives of this report are to describe the process of translating “Power of Attorney”, song lyrics, and the problem solving when translating those documents.
The main activity done at Insfilo was to make contents for websites and the
main activity done at Translexi was to translate the offshore drilling documents, “Power of Attorney”, a poem, and song lyrics. There were several problems that I had namely the difficult phrases and abbreviations in translating “Power of Attorney”, and onomatopoeia expression in translating Ponyo song lyrics. To solve those problems, I used online, offline, and Cambridge dictionary. Then, I looked for explanation and meaning on Google, discussed with my internship partners, and asked my instructor.
