Background: Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is one of Indonesia’s major health problem with prevalence of 0,5%. Primary clinical manifestations and the most frequent cause of death on CHD is Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). Significant impact depend on degree of ACS. High amount of heart rate can increase the prognosis risk of ACS. The aim of this study was to determine the association between Heart Rate and prognosis risk of Acute Coronary Syndrome in RSUD dr. Moewardi.

Methods: This study was an analytical retrospective study with a cross sectional approach. The study was conducted in November – Desember 2018 at RSUD dr. Moewardi. The subject of the study was medical records of ACS patients. This study was done by analyzing the medical records of patients. The method of sampling was done by consecutive sampling as much as 88 sample. The data was then analyzed using one-way ANOVA.

Results: Based on mean difference of heart rate in Killip I, Killip II, Killip III, and Killip IV patients, we found that the higher prognosis risk of Killip, the higher heart rate. Based on one-way ANOVA test, the only significant difference is found on difference Killip I and Killip IV, p=0,009.

Conclusion: This study showed there was association between heart rate and prognosis risk of acute coronary syndrome in RSUD dr. Moewardi.
