Inayah Aulia Nosima, (2019), Creating a Bilingual Tourism Booklet in Department
of Tourism of Kulon Progo. Universitas Sebelas Maret.
This internship report is written based on the internship activities at the
Department of Tourism of Kulon Progo from February 6 to March 6, 2019. The
objective of this report is to explain my internship activities in the Department of
Tourism of Kulon Progo. The internship activities at Department of Tourism of Kulon
Progo are writing the Indonesian text for a bilingual tourism booklet, translating the
Indonesian text into English, collecting photos and videos for the bookle, and designing
the booklet. During the internship pogram, I faced three problems in making the
bilingual tourism booklet. My first problem is transferring the Indonesian Language text
to English text, where I found several unfamiliar words. My second problem is related
to observation when I and my partner didn’t have transportation to go to the location
and we had a week to do observation which was not enough for us. And the last
problem is designing the booklet. I decided to ask one of the Marketing Field staffs to
help me designing the booklet
