ABSTRACT 2008. This Final project report is written based on the job training that had been done by the writer as English teacher in SDN 03 Pojok. This final project discusses about games and songs for the teaching English vocabulary of the fourth grade students in SDN 03 Pojok. It also discusses the process of teaching English vocabulary. The class activities consisted of four steps in lesson plan that were made before. They were: Motivating Strategies, Presentation Strategies, Skill Practice, and Assessment. The writer found out that using games and songs in teaching English vocabulary is effective and enjoyable. The writer gained the student’s attention and motivation to learn English vocabulary easily.
