ABSTRACT
The objective of this report is to give information about my internship activities at Balai Bahasa Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. This report was written based on my internship activities from January 13, 2020 to March 13, 2020.
There were main activities and three secondary activities I did during the internship program. The main activities was translating linguistic article entitled Ideology and (Im)politeness. The problems that I met during the translation process were translating difficult words, sentences, and unfamiliar terms. I did many ways to solve the problems, the ways were using online dictionaries, looking some references, and asking some suggestions and advices from my internship supervisor. Additional activities were writing an essay entitled ‘MotoGP – Tidak Semuanya Terkuak di Televisi’, translating brochure event of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) about ICCA (International Conference on Culture Acculturation), and joining 29th Anniversary Celebration of “Sanggar Sastra Jawa Yogyakarta” at Balai Bahasa Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.
