Pengaruh pendekatan quantum learning dan ekspositori terhadap prestasi belajar ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan tahun pelajaran 2008/2009

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya: 1) Pengaruh pendekatan Quantum Learning dan Metode Ekspositori terhadap prestasi belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan.2) Pengaruh motivasi belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. 3) Interaksi pengaruh antara pendekatan pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap presasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VIII SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Ngrambe Kabupaen Ngawi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPNegeri Kecamatan Ngrambe Kabupaten Ngawi yang berjumlah 457 siswa yang terdiri dari 3 Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri, peneliti mengambil dua sekolah untuk dijadikan sampel dengan teknik multi stage cluster random sampling. Anggota sampel penelitian berjumlah 160 siswa diambil dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Jumlah tersebut berasal dari empat kelas yang mewakili dari VIII A dan VIIIB sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B dan VIII C dari kelas kontrol Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua variabel yaitu variabel bebas (independent variable) variabel independen atribut dan satu variabel terikat (dependent variable). Variabel bebas: pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Quantum Learning dan ekspositori. Variabel independen atribut: motivasi belajar siswa. Variabel terikat adalah prestasi belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes. Kemudian dari data yang dikumpulkan diolah dengan menggunakan analisis varians dua jalur 2x2. Hasil analisis data penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: 1) Ada perbedaan pengaruh antara pendekatan Pembelajaran Quantum Learning dan Metode Ekspositori (FoA = 4,209 > Ft 5% = 3,84). 2) Ada perbedaan pengaruh antara siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi dengan siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah terhadap prestasi belajar Prestasi belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (FoB = 10,123 > Ft 5% = 3,84. 3) Ada pengaruh interaksi antara pendekatan pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar siswa (FoAB = 1092,516 >Ft 5% = 3,84). The effect Quantum Learning Approach and Expository for studying achievement Citizenship Education subject. 2). The effect of study Citizenship Education motivation. 3). The effect interaction between learning approach and motivation of study for achievement study of students. This research is be held in VIII grade of SMP Negeri in Ngrambe district-Ngawi regency. The method of the research is experimental method. The research population are all of the students of VIII grade SMP Negeri in Ngrambe district-Ngawi regency amount to 457 students. The students are from three SMP Negeri (Junior high school), researcher take two schools as sample, by using technique, Multi Stage Cluster Random Sampling. Sample member of this research amount to 160 students were taken by using Purposive Random sampling. The amount come from four classes that representative from VIII A and VIII B as experimental class and class VIII B and VIII C as control class. In this research there are two variables namely free variable, independent variable attribute and one of dependent variable. Free variable is learning by using Quantum Learning Approach and expository method. Independent attribute variable is motivation study of students. Dependent variable is The achievement of citizenship education. In collect data researcher use test technique. And then from the data that collected processed by using varieties analysis two ways 2 x 2 . The result of the data analysis is concludes that : 1) The differences between Learning Quantum Learning approach and expository ( F0a = 4,209 > Ft 5% =3,84). 2). The differences effect between students who have high motivation study with students who have low motivation study for achievement study citizenship education subject (F0b = 10,123 > Ft 5% = 3,84). 3). The differences effect interaction between learning approach with motivation study of students (F0ab = 1092,516 > Ft 5% = 3,84).
