Hubungan antara preeklampsia berat dengan asfiksia perinatal di RSUD Dr Moewardi Surakarta

ABSTRAK Severe preeclampsia is one of risk factor of the happening perinatal asphyxia. Perinatal asphyxia is one of cause of height of mortality of perinatal and neonatal. Preeclampsia happened by the hypertension and vasoconstriction vein causing degradation of uteroplacenta perfusion. That causes the reduce of oxygen to baby so become hypoxia and then asphyxia. The frequency of severe preeclampsia in Indonesia is high enough. This matter push the researcher to find out whether there is relation between severe preeclampsia and perinatal asphyxia in RSUD Dr Moewardi Surakarta. The type of this research is analytic observational with the approach of cross sectional, executed in RSUD Dr Moewardi Surakarta and subject research aterm pregnant woman with severe preeclampsia and without severe preeclampsia from August – October 2008. Sample is taken by purposive sampling, then data obtained to be analysed with the chi-square test (X2) at level of significant 5%. From the result of the research is known that X2 = 3,373 and p = 0,066. Therefore, H0 is accepted because X2 count (3,373) is smaller than X2 table (3,841) and p > 0,05. The conclusion of this research is there is no meaningful relation between severe preeclampsia and perinatal asphyxia in RSUD Dr Moewardi Surakarta.
