In the pandemic era of Covid-19, most schools now implement online learning to reduce the spread of virus Covid-19. In this circumstance, the writer wants to know about the teacher’s perception and implementation of teaching using online platform in the pandemic era. This study is in the form of case study. The writer uses interview and observation to collect the data. The interviewee of this study is a teacher from a lower secondary school in Ngawi. To analyze the data, the writer uses data analysis method introduced by Miles and Huberman (2014). The method is called Interactive model. There are three steps to analyze the data, these are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings showed that the teacher’s perception of teaching reading using online learning is a process of teaching and learning that uses the internet and digital media. With online learning, the teacher and the students can access it anytime and anywhere. However, the teacher has some difficulties when implementing online learning due to the lack of motivation of students and tools to maximize the learning result. These findings are very useful to evaluate the implementation of online learning in most schools in this pandemic era. The writer suggests that there are some changes that should be implemented to make better learning results.
