ABSTRACT The subsidy house ownership credit (KPR) in Surakarta Branch of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) is very interesting to the society, because the provision and requirement of subsidy house ownership credit application is easy. This research aims to find out how the credit issuance system of subsidy house ownership KPR) in Surakarta Branch of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) as well as to find out the weakness and strength of the credit issuance system of subsidy house ownership KPR) in Surakarta Branch of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero). The research method employed was primary data source derived from direct observation to the Surakarta Branch of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) and from the interview with the Loan Service Personel. Meanwhile the secondary data is the data obtained indirectly, from the books and other publication such as leaflet or brochure concerning the problem studied. The conclusion obtained from the research conducted is that the credit issuance system of subsidy house ownership KPR) in Surakarta Branch of PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) has fulfilled all basic elements of accounting system despite few weaknesses. Such weaknesses should be corrected to improve the credibility of Surakarta Branch of PT.
