ABSTRAK
Nurmalita Sekar Kirana. 2018. ANALISIS YURIDIS PRINSIP GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE DALAM PT ASURANSI JIWASRAYA (PERSERO). Penulisan Hukum (Skripsi). Fakultas Hukum Universitas Sebelas Maret. Penelitian hukum ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji 2 (dua) pokok permasalahan, yang pertama yaitu terkait peraturan perundang-undangan yang mengatur mengenai Good Corporate Governance dalam PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) dan yang kedua terkait prinsip Good Corporate Governance dalam PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) pada saat itu. Penelitian hukum ini merupakan penelitian hukum normatif yang bersifat preskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis peraturan perundang-undangan yang mengatur mengenai Good Corporate Governance dalam PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) dan prinsip Good Corporate Governance dalam PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) pada saat itu. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan perundang-undangan (statue approach) dan pendekatan historis (historical approach). Sumber hukum yang digunakan adalah bahan hukum primer dan bahan hukum sekunder dengan teknik pengumpulan dilakukan melalui studi dokumen atau teknik studi kepustakaan (library research). Selanjutnya teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan interpretasi gramatikal dan metode deduksi. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa belum adanya kesesuaian antara peraturan perundang-undangan dan prinsip Good Corporate Governance PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero). Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan banyaknya pelanggaran hukum yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan yang berakibat gagal bayar polis nasabah dan pemberhentian operasional perusahaan setelah restrukturisasi polis selesai dilakukan.

Law Faculty of Sebelas Maret University This legal research will describe and examine 2 (two) main problems, the first is related to the laws and regulations governing Good Corporate Governance in the management of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) and the second is related to principles of Good Corporate Governance in PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) at that time. This legal research is normative legal research which is prescriptive that aims to analyze principles of Good Corporate Governance in PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero). The approach in this study uses a statutory approach (statue approach) and a historical approach (historical approach). The legal sources used are primary legal materials and secondary legal materials with the collection technique being done through document studies or techniques library research. Technical analysis is qualitative method with grammatical interpretation and deduction method. The results of the study indicate that there is no compatibility between the legislation and the principles of Good Corporate Governance of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero). This is evidenced by the many legal violations committed by the company which resulted in default on customer policies and the termination of the company's operations after the policy restructuring was completed.
