The objectives of this report are to explain the entire internship activities during the internship program at Pro Translasi Malang focuses on two projects: primary projects and secondary project in The primary project consist of scientific journal and application/game translation using CAT Tools such as SmartCat, MateCat, and SDL Trados 2017. The secondary project is creating subtitles using Subtitle Edit, Aegisub, and Handbrake.
The translation process of the translation of scientific journals and applications/games by using the translation method stated by Nida & Taber, there are three steps to translate the text: (1) analyzing, (2) transferring, and (3) restructuring. Moreover, for the subtitling project, I used Henrik Gottlieb's subtitling strategies. There are ten different subtitling strategies to choose from expansion, paraphrase, transfer, imitation, transcription, dislocation, condensation, decimation, deletion, and resignation.
The translation method and technique were also used to help me translate the subtitling in the secondary project. Finally, in this final report, I strongly agree that the use of Nida & Taber and Henrik Gottlieb is very effective in order to solve the translation and subtitling problems which are translated. The obstacles during the internship were some unfamiliar words, convey message from the source text, and the process of translating various texts.  The strategies to solve the problems were looking for a dictionary and internet related to the translation, asking the staff related to the tasks.
