The roles of information division in RSUD DR. Moewardi Surakarta

ABSTRACT 2008. This Final Project report was written based on the job training in RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. In this job training, the writer focused on the hospitals’ Public Relation Division, especially in Information Division. Public Relation has an important role in giving information about the institution to its public in order to create good image and good relationship between them. The Public Relation of RSUD Dr. Moewardi surakarta realizes that giving information about the institution is very important because it will give a big influence about the image of institution for the public. From the discussion, the writer concludes that there are many facilities in RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta like medical facilities which consist of emergency room, hospitalized care installation, health treatment services, kinds of service, intensive care installation, radiology, clinical phatology laboratory, medical rehabilitation, nutrient installation, pharmacy, hemodialisis, laundry, forensic, food and beverage service. While the public facilities consist of public telephone facilities, canteen, cooperative shop, smooking area, ATM, and parking area. The facilities are good enough in supporting the patients’ need. Besides the information officers in RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta can not work well in doing their duties because of some challenges such as technology’ apparatus, system, and personel. Therefore, the writer gives some suggestion to the information officers in RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta to improve the quality for customers by optimizing their duties.
