ABSTRACT 2008. The important role of RSUD dr. Moewardi Surakarta. English Diploma Program, Faculty of Letters and Fine Arts, UNS. The first impression in a hospital can be seen from the information counter. Good services in the information counter will create positive impression to the hospital image. The customer’s satisfactory is the main goal in serving the customer’s. It requires special strategies in handling the customer’s where the customer will feel comfortable when they came to the hospital. This final project has objective to describe the activities in the activities and the importance of information counter in RSUD Dr. Moewardi surakarta. This final project report is arranged based on the writer’s job training. The writer participated for by one hundred hours as the trainee at the one of part public relation division to describe the important role of information counter in RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. And the important roles of information counter can be seen from the customers comment. The conclusion shows that the main point in handling the customers is the employee’s attitude. There are some personal qualities that information counter should have in order to handle the customers successfully.
